First of all, on behalf of the Staff and
Faculty of Leonard Hall Naval Academy but especially, for the
midshipmen, we thank all the volunteers who come together throughout
the year to keep the school operational and what it is. From
those parents who come out at lunch to keep the lunch program viable
to those who work in the library, we cannot express our gratitude
sufficiently. A mere thank you seems not enough. We are
appreciative and we know that you keep Leonard hall in the tradition
that it has lived for many years.
The following is a
list of current volunteer opportunities:
~ Box tops coordinator-Our box tops jar located in
the mess hall is filling up! Forty hours will be given for someone
to take over sorting these and mailing them in throughout the year.
~
Antique Show- Help is still needed for our biggest
fundraiser of the year!! Please contact kim.lynch@red-inc.us
if
you can donate some of your time.
~ Lunchroom volunteers-
We still new folks to donate a couple of hours during the day for
this worth while program. Please contact Ed at 301-769-2799 or
Joanne at 240-725-0656 if you can donate some time.
~
Substitute teachers- please respond to this e-mail
if you would like me to put your name on our list of possible
substitutes. We will try to give you as much notice as possible.
Eight hours of volunteer time will be given per day.
